Our Mission - A GYB in every shower.

Like most people, I’ve always had a hard time reaching my back. This was always especially frustrating when in the shower. I just couldn’t scrub my back as well as I wanted. Just think for a moment, your back contains about 13% of your skin. How clean can you be if you skip 13% of your skin? This is like brushing your teeth and never brushing the same three teeth every day. Not a pleasant thought. I tried back scrubbers, the ones with the brush at the end of the long handle. They worked OK, but never to my satisfaction. I had to lather the washcloth and then lather the separate back scrubber. What a waste of soap and time. In addition, I could never push hard enough to make my back feel really clean. While using the scrubber, I often thought about who else in the family might be using the same scrubber. Another unpleasant thought. For years I kept thinking of possible ways to improve on the back scrubber with no real success. It finally dawned on me that I was approaching the problem from the wrong perspective. A better back scrubber wasn’t the answer. What was needed was a better washcloth. Again more thought and multiple prototypes were tried. I eventually arrived at the idea of a washcloth with a built-in scrubber and thus the GYB was born. The GYB, (Got Your Back), the washcloth perfected, was designed to truly scrub your back, without the need of a separate back scrubber. The built-in scrub ball was purposely placed off-center, allowing you to scrub the top of your back well. By flipping the GYB, the ball is now low on the cloth and allows you to scrub the lower part of your back. This design is so unique that within a short period of time other uses and qualities of the GYB became apparent.

The scrubbing ball also works as a massage ball. Hold the ball in the palm of your hand

and push down on sore tired muscles. This will work out any soreness and kinks in

your muscles. Because of its design, you can also massage your back. Hold the scrub

ball in the palm of your hand and support it with your thumb and index finger and it

acts as a scrubbing pad for your face, knees, and elbows or any area that needs extra

attention.

You don’t have to spend extra money on special scrubbing pads. The scrubbing ball

works well as an exfoliator, especially around the heels of your feet. It will help prevent thick callus building up and keep your feet soft and smooth.

After a long run or standing all day on your feet , massage your feet by

place the GYB on the shower floor. Gently step on the ball, and move your foot back-and-forth. It’s an excellent foot massage.

The GYB is 50% larger and twice as thick as the average washcloth. It has two sides;

one side made of microfiber, the other of cotton. Choose the side you like best. There

are buttonholes at each end of the GYB. This makes it easy to hold the GYB while in

use. By pulling on the buttonholes apart tightly, you can you can generate as much

pressure as you like. The buttonholes make it easy to hang the GYB in the shower. The

scrubbing ball make wringing out the GYB easy when you’re done.
